No point in raising revs if the power curve has dropped to its death. You'd need a very well breathing head and lairy cams to start.Then everything else that goes with keeping the engine together at those rpm (uprated rods/bolts etc)
Head work? Port, polish, larger valves etc etc
And of course the inlet/ex manifold to bring in and exhaust the additional air flow rather than bottleneck it
