Hi chaps, anybody know where the radiator fan switch is on the early xr4i?

At a guess I'd say in the rad on the near side near the bottom. Perhaps a brown or blue swittch

It doesn't have one. The V6 on the Sierra always had the fan mounted on the waterpump pully with a visco coupling that engaged when it got warm. But in a lot of cases the visco coupling seized and the fan is always running.
