Default Merkur forum offline?

Not sure if anyone here ever visited the forum, but a few days ago I tried logging onto the Merkur forum but it could not find the site. Does anyone know what happened there?

I think Fastmaul is the admin of that site - hasn't been online here for a couple years but you could try and PM and see if he still gets the email notification

It's bit of a shame that the forum is down, there was quite some nice information on there as well, like different projects. I hate the fact that everyone is moving over to facebook. All the information is lost within a few days, unlike on forums that you can just look back for everything. I just don't understand why everyone is on facebook nowadays.

Only reason I stick with it is to talk to people back in the UK since I'm no longer there. If it wasn't for that I wouldn't be on it, so much negativity on facebook its unreal. I don't think the forum is gone for good, they never said anything in the group so hopefully its just a glitch.
