Hi all, my front drivers side raven leather Recaro in my 1990 2wd Saff is starting to show it's age now with quite a lot of wear on the right side and the right bolster. Have you tried to get new Raven leather? I tried everywhere and it is just not available so I went down another route. I have bought a 1996 Ford Granada Scorpio raven leather front seat which someone had converted into an office chair.There is a lot of very good condition leather on it which a very skilled trimmer is going to carefully remove and use it to refurb mine and at the same time fit a brand new Recaro bolster shaped foam insert which you can still buy brand new. I am looking forward to the job being done and I will post more photo's and info in a couple of weeks time when it is finished.

I picked the now fully repaired Recaro up this morning and I am very happy how it has turned out!

This whole side section top to bottom has the leather from the Granada Scorpio seat sewn in.It looks superb and I defy anyone to realise it has been repaired!!

It has also had a brand new Recaro bolster put in which firms up the side again and is so much better than the old bolster foam which had split apart.

Not a bad looking seat for 31 years old!!! be going back in my Saff tomorrow. The Guy who did the repair is Chris Gooch CSG trimming in Southampton. His standard of work is superb and I can highly recommend him.
