Finally managed to get my saph running again after ten years in the garage. The fuel pump was seized which I carefully freed up with a hammer!

As a result I’m going to fit a new pump and filter but which pump is best for a stage 1 saph? It’s got an Ahmed bayjoo chip running 293bhp and is on the standard blue injectors.

Is it worth upgrading the pump or would the standard one be okay? Think it has a standard one on at the moment.

Anyone used these Sytec pumps? Seem way too cheap to be any good though.

 

Most would get the Bosch 044

 

Thanks. For the extra cost I think it’s worth it for the peace of mind.

 

I've had the bosch 044 on mine for about 8 years now and it's been reliable.

 

I've replaced my old 044 with the new part number of bosch. Its completely different pump.
