Hi could someone please help, the issue i seem to be having on my transit connect 2006 is it won't seem to get past the immobiliser, recently I had ran out of diesel and had to get it towed back to my home, the vans been sat there now over a week, I had a go at putting some diesel in to see if it would crank over and start but no joy , in the past the immobiliser has been abit temp working most of the time but flashing loads with a red dot other times,
now the dot seems to be constantly flashing red, the battery had now died on the van but when I turn the key it shows the battery sign the red dots flashing like mad and also can still see my milage, anyone help? Thanks in advance

 

Normally red light flashing on key on is the key not recognised, have you got a spare key?

Other than that could be the key reciever thats wrapped around the steering lock. Gives same symptons, not coded so a straight fit.
