Default Alternative drop/lowering

Hi all, my Sapphire 4x4 Cosworth is lowered approx 15mm up front and approx 30mm at the back according to the previous owner...the set up was accompanied by koni shocks - all of which looks tired (set up 20 years ago). I’ve managed to get hold of some AVO adjustable shocks and -25mm front -40mm back strengthened/lowered springs as a recommended replacement - all will be on original shark tooth alloys (15”)...has anybody else experienced a similar alternative drop as I’ve heard the back sits higher as standard? Would be good to know thoughts on this set up....Please note the car is not abused and has never seen a track...it’s just for show and the odd blast about... Cheers

Hi,I was on std springs on a 4x4 sapphire cosworth and the back was higher than the front. Recently, I bought some ahmed bayjoo springs from burton and the back still sits higher...

I was looking into the AB springs as have heard good things about them, but just came across the AVO set up by chance...I know it’s advised not to lower the front by more than 25mm on a 4x4 because of the potential for drive shaft issues, but think the 40mm drop at the back might give a level-ish stance....fingers crossed!
