Just had all 4 calipers stripped and rebuilt, new brembo



discs and pads all around, 2 rear subframe bushes and my wheels powder coated bronze.... Total cost Ł3300....​​​​​​
But looking stunning....Bigg Red did an excellent job of the caliper rebuilds, topped of by the shiny new 2 piece brembo discs .

 

Shocking cost lol. My mate had an estate one recently. He paid 14 grand for it. Was horrendous on fuel and his power steering pump went. It cost him about 900 pounds. Couldn’t use a second had one as they need coding to the car he was told lol. He sold it and got a defender 90. Stunning cars though I’d definitely have one if I didn’t have my Sierra

 

theyre not cheap toys, most folk seem to keep them for a year then get rid as the running costs can be silly but the non performance pack cars have 1 piece discs that are a third of the costs for only 30bhp less..
the rear subrame mounts came from the main dealer, they were only Ł35 each. most of my parts fitted are from the main dealer unless theyre a well known name like brembo. the specialist i use wont fit aftermarket motor factor parts as things like bushes and balljoints take a lot of stress and cheap parts fail much quicker.
stunning machine though and gets my heart pumping much more than any of those internet woman did.....
wasnt entirely sure about the bronze wheels at first but seeing them on in the sun has changed my mind...

 

Heck. That's big bucks. Very cool though. Wheel colour looks great 👍
