Default ST500 vs RS - Investment

Hi all.

I have a budget of £20k and in the market for either a ST500 Fiesta/Focus or a RS of some sort.

What would you buy and why?

For that value mate I’d buy a mint mk1 focus Rs and still have some change!! They are creeping up in value and you never see them on the road.
Go for the newer 1 after 02 as they used thicker stiching in the interior too stop the seats splitting I’m lead to believe.

the mk1 focus rs in my opinion is the last of the real RS cars.

good luck 😎

A lot depends over what time period you're looking the investment to be over.

Given how high some prices are, I can't see them getting much higher. And if you're looking 20-30 years into the future....who knows how things would go given the hatred towards cars, car enthusiasts...and petrol.

it's different if you're buying it to use and enjoy. But as a parked up, locked up investment...harder to say. Buy silver or gold.
