Default To sell or to break my rs?

Right i dont want to get bombarded with whats it worth posts. I own a fiesta rst and have done for nearly 20 years now, never post on facebook much on these groups, without going into detail i have personal problems and all of my cars do cause me stress / depression / sleepless nights and its time to de-clutter, im sure im not the only one with these / who has had these problems, never sold a car before, tried once with my focus but gave up and broke it! and to be fair from reading other posts it just seems to be timewaster after timewasters people suffer with, its on 46k and im the 3rd owner, simple question, would i get more money breaking or selling whole and dealing with timewaster after timewaster? Yes its a 31 year old car and does have some issues, cant deny that or be dishonest. Just want your views guys on what do do as my mind is all over the place, all the best.

Low miles and owners in mint condition... thats keeper imo or at least kept whole. There decent money and fairly rare up here!
But if your planning on selling or breaking why no post your looking price/ prices for potential buyers?

You can do what I did, use a friend to sell it and do all the viewings and give them a drink for doing it. I hated dealing with people viewing cars. I'd sell it complete

I’d agree that with it being low miles/owners it would be better sold complete if you really want it gone.
Plus breaking has to be much more hassle selling the parts anyway, without even considering the work stripping it.

If you want to minimise stress, sell it whole. You might get a few wasters, but wait till you get people haggling over 50p for a piece of interior trim if you went the breaker route!!

Sounds like it's too good to break sell it as a whole.

Sell it whole. EBay auction, and state no buy it now, non-refundable deposit required at auction end. Should weed out a few idiots. But in reality how hard is it to let people look over the car and make you an offer? It's not like you're going out at the moment lol.

I would sell it whole, I sold 2 old Fords in the past, 1 via Ebay and 1 via Gumtree, yes do get hassle and timewasters, but for me that was just online, you do get asked pointless questions which pics and the advert explained, but the first 2 people who could actually be bothered to come and view in person bought the cars, cos they were genuine as described old Fords with issues, but ours were roadworthy and drive away. For me, having the internet meant I got better ad coverage, so they sold quickly and I got a decent price and hopefully you find genuine buyers who know what's what, the added keyboard hassle was worth it in the end.
