Default Cossy swap

Hi lads, I'm swapping a 2.9 Bob v6 for a yb I picked up, I have most things rad fans intercooler piping wiring loom/ ECU can anyone tell me if the fuel pump I have will do or will I need something else? Also what ecus are people using in their cosworths looking for something tunable but not mad expensive.

That will depend on what kind of fuel pump you currently have. A YB will need a higher fuel pressure than a BOB due to the fuel pressure increase under boost conditions.

Is there an upgraded pump that you recommend Marc ?

I think most Cosworth’s on stage 3 run a Bosch 044 pump. But I’m no expert on the fuel pump thing. A car with a BOB in it is of course converted, but the BOB can still run on a DOHC fuel pump. Is your fuel pump inside or outside the fuel tank?
