The birds Nissan Juke 1.2 petrol issues again. P0090 code
Evening all, as above, the bird was driving to mine after work on NYE and the dash came on with the check engine light, gear shift on dash showing change up and down arrow and the auto stop/start green light flashing.
Since bought a code reader and it comes up with P0090 - Fuel pressure regulator 1 control circuit.
Had a quick look earlier and upon unplugging the connector off the high pressure pump it came up with another error saying fuel pressure regulator circuit open, but the flashing green light for the stop/start stopped. It also struggled to rev when accelerator applied.
But I'm not sure if the high pressure pump that's at fault as it still drives ok, but tbf she drives like an absolute fanny so wouldn't notice any loss of performance anyway
From looking online, it suggests it could be the fuel pressure metering solenoid or whatever its called, the one with the grey plug as pictured below. anyone know what this is called, or have a part number? Or even if I am going in the right direction, or suggestions of other things to look at.

Thanks in advance!
Cheers

Hello mate, the fault wont clear with the OBD reader.
I was assuming it is a genuine fault and with the engine running while the reader is plugged in wont clear it?

Don't know if you've come across this online, but it looks useful:

I go to loads of cars 'broken down' with eml on , half the time just needs a reset.
