I’m 18 and want to engine swap my red ford

I have a red mk3 fiesta, is a 1991 popular plus model with a tiny underpowered engine.

I have a basic knowledge about engines but I’m so keen to work on my car...moving into my own house next week and I’ll have a garage. I either want to turbo the 1.1l engine or just engine swap it for a zetec engine as they seem to be pretty affordable. Also what power tools will I need as I have the funds to invest in a good amount.
