i'm doing a gearbox conversion for my turbo sierra...
can someone please tell me if the first inches of a MT75 DOHC bellhousing (it is mashined!, like in the picture) are exactly centered???
i cutted it away before i checked it:/
i used the first 1.9 inches of the MT75 bellhousing and the remaining 5.55 inches from the toyota gearbox..
a friend of me welded it together but not exactly centered:/
if someone could tell me i could use this first part of the MT75 to center the bellhousing to the gearbox (maybe with an exactly mashined plate with a whole for the input shaft) and then set new dowels between gearbox an bellhousing..
it is not so easy to discribe in english but i hope someone could help me!
