This was in fastford mag a few months back
It has one massive spec on it. Do you think the quarter mile times are about right for the car??

Did he have a few problems with it. It must have some quality suspension on it cause the back end doesn't squat much at all.
The 3 series bm was quick too. The saph made light work of that Merc AMG.

once it’s had a few outings in its latest spec and all the little problems fixed it’ll drop into the 9’s no problems.
Just need to lose those damn road tyres

That's a stunner. I like that it is still looking a normal car on the outside. I mean the people in to cars and in to this game... gonna see it but for many it looks 'normal'.
Great car and still used on the road too, lots more too come from it too, run 10.3 on its first time out with new engine. He’s still sorting small issues with the car from previous work carries out, now built abs mapped by Julian Godfrey

I know what 500bhp feels like... I can't imagine what 900 feels like or how it manages decent traction.
That car has a lot more to give I reckon, my V1 Escort did 10.38 @ 138mph at the pod with no launch control and it had just over 600hp, using that as a comparison that Sierra has to be in the 9's easy at some stage

Proper car street and strip my favourites 😁😁💪
Kev sharp went 10.3 too with 500hp rs500 engine and a bit of nitrous didn’t he? But he had an ffd box. This car will go a lot faster I’m sure.

then there's getting the launch and early shifts right to bring the times down even more
I know from my own car all launches exactly same, 1.7 bar boost ran 10.6, 2.7 bar boost ran 9.6, so 1 second quicker just with more power, then there's launch and early shifts to hone in and get perfect
Followed his car for a good while I'm glad hes got it sorted after his engine problems he seems happy, it definitely made me reconsider a 20k big power build if that went bang on me I couldnt do it again if I wanted to I'll just watch 😂👍
With the time's etc it's running there it must only be around 650hp give or take.
At 900hp, it really should be rolling out low 9's without any difficulty at around 150mph or so.
Although I think it has run quicker in the past than it did in that video ?

It's literally just gone out after build, I had same issues and sane thing said to me with my 148 mph terminals first time out about me being down on power, won't know what it can do til it's making full power, I'm not sure if there were grip issues aswell
Looks like it was launching and gripping ok. But yes, maybe it is running much lower boost than they intend to run later on.
But both ET and traps are not 900hp in that video.
As said, pretty sure it has run low 10's before ?

Hard to tell by videos from my videos my gtr looked like my grip is fine but my datalogs say otherwise showing alot of wheelspin upto 100 mph
I'm not sure what it's best times are in previous spec but I don't recall any 9s being mentioned I'm sure it's just been 10s so far afaik
From the approx weight and assuming 750 whp from my info I have it will be doing around 146 mph which should come from the extra boost, as I said earlier 1 bar more boost took me from 148 mph upto 166 mph

It's 4wd and he's clearly on slicks....traction isn't an issue. It's also running dead straight.
Either way, the traps are still only saying 650hp or so IMO.
No doubt when it's running full power etc it will run a lot faster though

He's not on Slicks Steve I've seen it with my own eyes they are r888s like mine
Looking forward to having a bash with mine times will be 11s I guess but hopeing for high 130 mph area
Either way...should be trapping better IF it is running at full boost etc. Which as said, I doubt it is.. A few years ago a friends Subaru ran 9.9 on 888's on a damp airfield, and doubt it would have been making 900hp at the time or anywhere near it really.

I see that now....weird. The tyres sit very oddly on the rims, makes them look very different, or they're an unusual size, as the sidewalls look larger than you'd expect.

Do you remember what mph the Subaru hit mate ?
He is getting some small traction issues off the line

It was back in 2017, it had mostly dried up, but weren't going to risk it on slick type tyres so used the 888's as there was still wet bits ( which the yellow car on slicks highlighted )

What turbo was it on ? Must be a heavy car and to hit 150 mph must be making a good bit of power
