Hi all,

I could be wrong, but I think I found some Cosworth Rocking Horse Shit.

I've been looking for 2 years with no luck and everyone says they rarely ever come up, but I found a drivers side RS500 door card. And best of all, I found it less than an hour from home here in Sydney, Australia.

Please tell me if I am as lucky as I think I am. I'm over the moon to have got one, even if I did pay a fair bit for it, AU$700. If I didn't jump straight in, who knows how long before another one would ever show its face

It's in bloody great condition and no lifting around armrest as they usually do. Just a slight mod to fit my electric mirror control switch.

I wouldn't expect it to be different from an RS500 compared to a regular 3dr Cosworth, but a nice find nonetheless!

Though I wouldn't have thought it would have the hole for the manual window winder. Perhaps this one came from a Motorsport version that didn't have electric windows?

 

As above it’s a 3dr cosworth door card, not specific to the 500.
500’s were modified 3drs, hence the interior is exactly the same.
same for the wheels.

Hi Smiley, excuse my ignorance but what are 'dust caps'. Do you mean the window winder hole cover ????

Maybe you were just having a joke, cause I thought dust caps were just for the valve stem
