HELP please! Fiesta Mk6 ABS error
My son’s 2006 Fiesta 1.6 Zetec S has been sitting on the drive since lockdown and it's due an MOT soon.
I've fitted a new battery and it’s all running again except the ABS warning light stays on ☹
Plugged in my OBD adapter and FORScan gives me U1021 errors "Lost Communication With The ABS Control Module"
PCM: U0121-E0, U0121-F0
OBDII: U0121-C, U0121-P
IC: U0121-60
If the ABS ECU has packed up that looks like an expensive problem.
Anyone know if it needs reprograming if you swap it out for one from a scrapper?

just out of interest does the reservoir contain enough dot 4 brake fluid? Could be as simple as topping it up if the fluid has leaked out somehow during it being left unused. Could possibly be a loose electrical connection or even got a bit damp.
