I'm looking at buying an ECU kit and I need to know whether the 2.0i DOHC in my Sierra is batch fire or has sequential EFI. Now if I get the sequential EFI version it is more expensive but it can also work on batch fire applications so there is extra flexibility in that regard. If it matters I'm not using that engine. I'll be swapping in a Merkur 2.3 Turbo unit which to be fair I don't know what that one is either lol.

 

The 2.0i dohc is batch fire. Although I don’t see what it matters if you are going to use a different engine and different management.

No idea. But if you’re going with new management you can do what you like I would think.

 

Also the Cosworth YB is batch fire as well or sequential?
