Hi guys, my bros 3door packd in at weekend. Cut out at end of street. On a quick diagnosis there's no feed to fuel pump also the spark has gon. Management light also staying on. On a little investigating he found the inline 15A fuse jst next to ECU was blowing. Which we believe is the ECU fuse?? Replaced fuse and blowing straight away. Disconnected ECU, put fuse in and fuse OK. Soon as ecu connected the fuse goes. He done a continuity test between pin 20 on ECU and the body of ecu and and getting circuit. Think pin 20 is ecu feed?? And help atal guys much apreciated

 

You have a short circuit, it may be a fault with the ECU itself.

You won't have power at the pump, as the ECU drives the fuel pump relay. Likewise, ignition is controlled via ECU.

Do you have +12V at pin 20 with ignition on?

Hi mate sorry for the delay. I'm prity sure there is power at pin 20 when fuse is good anyway. Looking like a problem with ecu I think tbh. Cheers for reply
