Hi
Is there a diffrence between mk4 xr3i and escort rs turbo rear brake adjuster.
if so how much.

You should have asked ze German.

We're talking about the valves that are connected to the rear suspension arms?

They're all the same on any MK4 Escort.

The brake adjustments levers inside the drums are different. RS Turbos had a bigger brake, therefore most of the parts are different, back plates, drums, shoes etc. Parts catalogue won't tell me what the difference is, just that RS Turbos had their own brake adjustment levers and seems like these were just used for the S2.

yes they are. Xr3i has 203MM drums Rsturbo has 228mm drum.. the adjuster from xr3i is not long enough for the rst rear brake. I am looking for the length or rst adjuster. I think I have fixed it. I have cut xr3i adjuster and added in 15mm and welded it up. I now have handbrake and all works great
