Cosworth cam cover

Found this in my dads loft. Any idea whats its worth? He used to work for cosworth.

There’s something different about the spark plug holes on this one, they have been recessed and cannot remember why. Possibly for rally car or touring car?

Early bayonet type.
so I'd expect it to be red.
So Assume it's been repainted when the mods have been made to the spark plug holes.
