vibratechnics (sp?) engine mounts on roadcar?

vibratechnics (sp?) engine mounts on roadcar?
worth using on a road car? or just use new std ones..
do the solid vibra jobbies make it a bit nasty to drive?

Got them on mine mate and they were on the XR2i when I took you for a spin.
They do transmit more engine vibration into the car but thats a small trade off for the improvement

Jim you have a smooth V6 why would you need stiffer engine mounts?

improvement is massive on an RST
unsure on the difference is that noticable on a cossy as i havent tried them yet

Got engine + Gearbox ones on my taxi....
Makes the car/dash shake well..........Still......for my launching i need them!

handling, braking, gearchange, general feel of the car
it transformed the car, made everything better on my RST

think RST ones are about 45-50 a side for the gearbox
And a new engine one from Fords is about 35 i think as they dont do uprated engine mounts

spadge, think mine might be a bit worn, as there's quite a bit of movement on the engine. figured i may aswell change em
anyone knwo the price of engine mounts? (2wd)

Dont really like them but they do a better job than the standard ones
