My rs1800 fiesta restoration previously started by my dad (Dakar) who passed away in 2018. I will be posting pics of the progress i am making. My dad already began by stripping the car down and doing some welding and restored the rear underside

Sorry to hear of your loss.
I think that's great that your carrying on with the project your dad started!
I really really like the rs1800, was looking at getting one a few years ago but couldn't find one that was any good for sensible money!
Looks like your doing a good job, what are your plans? Are going to get it back to factory spec?
Thanks mate and yes they are really hard to find now. Its one of the last ones made in 95. I am planning to get it back to factory spec. It wont be concourse as its going to be used in summer but am going to try my best
Currently trying to sort a welder to begin welding everything that needs doing, this is the rear underside my dad did using mipa stonechip and painting over it. Im going to do the same on the front section underneath
