Third party new sump and gasket,. By christ I thought the originals were a pain in the arse. What kind of cretin designed this s--t!
A total waste of three hours of my life, taught the neighbours a few new sweary words and if it's sealed and airtight, I'm a Dutchman.

 

Theres an art to it and if you're a long term CVH owner, always have a spare gasket ready to switch out with the one you just spent an hour changing

 

I found a good way of fitting it is to glue it to the sump first making sure all hole ect are lined up then fit to the block.

 

Tried fixing it to the sump with gasket sealer but that was a disaster, maybe bl--dy superglue the next time.

 

Yeah i just use a few dots of superglue around it to hold it in place, u don't have to go too nuts lol . found it works
