Hi all, please can somebody let me know if mk1 Sierra outer window weatherstrips will fit my 92 Sapphire. I have a complete set in great condition of both inner and outer strips (but just need to replace the corroded outer ones) and assumed they would fit fine, so decided to try and fit one to the drivers side rear. It appears that the corners are slightly tighter on the Sapphire originals than the mk1 version, and the mk1 seems slightly shorter, but maybe that due to the different curves/corners? I didn't want to start messing about with bending them only to find that this would be a waste of time....any thoughts or comments would be appreciated. Cheers

 

I'm pretty sure MK1 windows are smaller and the rubbers would be also.

 

no there differnt im sure as window is differnt shape think mk2 sierra has thin outer frame from mk1
