Hi, I have a 2006 RDS radio, that when turned on just says E E

does anyone know what this means or how to sort it?

It won’t let me enter any code, it won’t even let me turn it off when the ignition is on...

Just type in Ford 2006 RDS code in your search bar and there are several sites that can assist you.

 

If it doesn't show the 4 bars where you enter the code I believe it's had too many attempts, 10, and is permanently locked.

Apparently from Googling there is a last chance 11th attempt, possibly only done by a dealer.
