S2 radiator ....any other model can be used?
Ok so I need a new radiator the one on the s2 I just bought is shagged.
as I live in Australia shipping is a bitch....on eBay the mk4 turbo rad works out at about 600 quid shipped to me...yet other roads for Australian delivered cars are roughly 50 quid brand new...
we have fiestas from mk4. All Monroe's and all focus's. Can anything else be used that obviously lines up and can fit my hoses? Not trying to be a tight arse but 12 times the price is a joke.....
same with my bottom samco hose it's chewed up from the alternator and looking like a 600 quid part too.
Any help or advise is appreciated.

From memory (its over 20 yrs since I had an RST) the rad on an S2 RST is exclusive to that car as it has the fitting points for the stock intercooler,no wonder its pricey!
Sorry don't know of any other rads that might even fit.

As it's a CVH most other CVH rads (Fiesta MK2/3, Escort MK3-7) can be connected to the hoses BUT
as mentioned before the S2 had a unique rad as iit had the intercooler mounted next to it so it has the intercooler mounting points AND it therefore is not as wide as an XR3i rad but is a bit thicker
Prices for a standard one @Ford are VERY high nowadays, tried an aftermarket part? Autospecialists maybe? https://www.autospecialists.co.uk/pr...ec-motorsport/
