Hi people hope someone can help with a starting issue
I’ve rebuild the engine on a mondeo 1.8tdci installed it plugged in all wiring to the engine as far as I can see seem bang on I have no codes present of the snap on diagnosis machine all power is full even brand new battery check tested the starter all working cleaned all earth wiring even brand new key from ford programmed in but I can not for the life of me get it to even try and turn over

 

Did you buy it as a non runner?

Do suffer from ignition switch failures, have you checked power at back of switch?

 

I bought it as a non runner due to the wet belt failing I will check the power to the to the ignition tomorrow
min just baffled at the minute so any advise or help is welcome

 

So after couple of days struggling head scratching tested everything replacing all sorts I finally found the issue
I bought the car as a repo and the insurance fitted a tracking system that they can kill the car’s ignition system which is what they had done sold me the car and never turned the system of removed the box and now fires in the key

 

Result.

Would have never guessed that.
