Escort mk6 1.4 lx

Hi I have a question I am changing engine to rs turbo with ft400 management can I take out the factory ecu and it's harness cause it's useless now tnx

Does the standard ecu have the immobiliser in. So if you take it out the car might not start.

hi Glenn tnx for reply yes it have but I am going to use a stand alone ecu it will effect
