Default 18" spare wheel

Anyone know if a 215/35/18 wheel will fit in the wheel well of a sapphire Cosworth as can't get smaller than 18" over my front brakes so was thinking of ordering another comp to put in as a spare.

car is away having some work so can't just try one of my road wheels in the boot to find out.

This is my 17 inch spare wheel with a 215/40/17 tyre on it. there still seems to be more space for a bigger wheel/tyre maybe?

Looks promising but can't quite tell if you have the extra inch around it from the picture to get the 18" wheel in as I know it's tighter towards the bottom of the well.

I know a 215/45/17 R88R fits in, its tight and needs a yank to get it out.
