My ST225 2007 Oil filter housing (brand new genuine Volvo unit fitted 2 months ago) is leaking very slowly from the wiring connector plug.
Only a few drips per day but definitely leaking engine oil. The rest of the new housing unit appears to be dry. Its coming from inside the wiring connector, seeping down the square section of the housing and dripping off one corner.
Has anyone else ever had this? Am I unlucky enough to have bought a faulty unit or is there meant to be a rubber sealing ring on the wiring connector that pushes into the housing connector.

Did you find out what the problem was and how did you fix it.
Did you have any boost problems or just oil leak.
Mine also leaks and i think i have a vaccium leak because i have some boost problems. Engine stottering while flooring in 3 and 4 Gear.
