Default *STOLEN* White mk2 Cortina GT, XME322G Croydon between 6 & 11/12/19

A white mk2 Cortina GT registration number XME322G was stolen from the garage at a propertyin Croydon sometime between the 6th & the 11th December 2019. The 76 year old owner has had the car from new & is devastated by the theft. He was approached by a man in Purley asking to buy it before it was parked up.

Such a well looked after car, the owner must be gutted. It really pisses me off that some low life scum think it's ok to steal it!!!

And pisses me off even more that the law does so little to catch and prevent the scum who do this.

It seems as a member of some of those groups on FB.....the sheer number of really great classic cars, as well as some maybe less desirable overall, that get stolen is utterly ridiculous.

It has to be some sort of organised gang, rather than just random incidents, as even the parts are a fairly niche market these days, nevermind entire cars.

The law should be fucking embarrassed by these thefts and their lack of clear up rates around them.
