So I've bought a pig, someone has crudely dropped in a focus st170 engine and gearbox, and then stuck the ECU/loom and clocks in... I cannot get it running, though it ran the day I got it...

I've soldered all these wires together rather than using that splitter thing...

I've bought a new ecu, key, transmitter, dials and fitted them to see if that would work and still nothing, it just goes to ignition, lights up but nothing.

I'm trying to work backwards from his bodge

 

So I removed the dash and found the previous owners handy work!!!!!

Got to be better to pull that lot out and start again with a new loom surely?
