Default Mk7 Transit Crew Van

Picked this Mk7 Transit Crew Van up the other week
Been looking at Mk7’s & Customs for a few months now
A3 & Orion go on Sorn over winter, so we just use my work’s scheme car over winter
To make things easier we needed to sort a cheap 2nd car or the right van for trips away with mtb’s , general family duties
Picked this up for a bargain, 112k miles on, full Ford history, 2 owners
High factory spec
Just a few jobs to sort, and maybe some mods along the way

Picked the van up on a Friday afternoon
Wheels put up Forsale Friday evening
Organised new wheels to be fitted Saturday morning, managed to sell old wheels Saturday morning and get them collected while having new wheels fitted
Gone for a bigger tyre to reduce arch gap and keep it comfortable

Nice van.
Love the wheels. Are those O.Z wheels by Ford Motorsport/ M sport? Hard to find over here...

Its a clean one for the age that’s for sure,I’d say it’s not had a hard life by the looks of it,the colour definitely helps but I know what you’ve done in the past for a living and being an ex detailer myself I know it’s very easy to polish value into a car or van if you know what your doing

Cracking Van's these. When we had these in the fleet of Van's I work on I hardly did anything to these. I changed a few egr valves and a few fuel pressure valves on the pump due to the revs not idling properly.

Flew through its Mot back in November , it then developed a charging fault... 😱
So it had 2 new batteries, alternator, tensioner, auxiliary belt before Christmas 😂
Also developed a central locking fault, ended up needing both front door looms replacing
Treated it to some new genuine mats.
Then fitted a new sump along with oil and filter change 👍🏼

Finally fitted a tailpipe to the standard exhaust... and shortened the standard aerial so I haven’t gotta remove it when putting it in/ out of the garage 😂😎
