Name that multi plug on ERST fuel metering head?

Dose any one know what the little device with the multi plug does on the Escort RST fuel metering head because my old metering head did not have one and the new one i have does.Do i need it? Can any one help?

Probably came from a car with a fuel computer!

There are 2 plugs on the metering head, one is for the air flow flap potentiometer and the other one is fof the fuel pressure actuator.

Also as mentioned above if its off a car with a fuel comuter then you will also have a plug for a fuel flow sensor.
