Default can you hire engine hoists?

just about to buy an egine holder which will hold my engine whilst i degrease and paint it etc etc, but dont have the roon for a hoist and a holder, so wondered if you can hire the hoists? gonna ring round tomorrow but thought i would ask here first tho

yes you can. That tool hire shop near sainsburys rent them.

can't remember what I paid to hire one a few years back but don't think it was a lot

I hired one from RENT-TOOL(sure they are nationwide??) and it cost Ł6 as I only had it for 4 hours while I whipped the engine out.
