Default 92 ford escort cosworth stub axles

Hi,

I'm trying to find replacement stub axles for my escos (big turbo). Seem to be a nightmare trying to find a new set. Anyone can point me in the right direction for new or a good used set?

Thanks
Brendan.

Previous owner didnt realise the bearings had gone and they are mullard. they would need re-sleeving or new ones and Ford dont have any. Let me know and happy to buy them if you let me know a price.

Thanks guys

try searching for drive flanges instead, you may find what you're after a stub axle to me is the splined part bolted onto the cv joint but people seem to interchange both names with both parts.

here's someone reasonably local that will have some for sure:

found these on ebay too:

Is it just the stub axle you need like below or the hub carrier where the bearing is,this stuff isn't hard to find as any breaker will have them or eBay,

Thanks guys, it's from my mechanic that's looking for them as he's removed mine and they look shit. This is the picture he sent me. So it's these that I need. He called them stub axles.

have you actually measured them or tried a bearing on them to see how worn they are?

I haven't, personally I haven't seen them, the guy fitting new suspension and doing the mechanical side of it has said that they aren't in great condition and the bearings aren't great and need to be sleeved to make it work. Is not a chancer or a poor mechanic so fully trust his word on it so just looking for some decent ones before we get them sleeved and pay that cost!
