Hi guys, long time since I've been on here and a few car changes later but I'm back where I belong... Bought an rs turbo two years ago (time flies!!) And just getting ready for the dreaded mot and realised the heater isn't working inside the car... The blower motor itself is free (not seized) and have changed the resistor as it looked pretty much burned out. I've checked the fuse and seems ok. Anything else I can check for before going absolutely bonkers?? Cheers

 

Yes, verify power is present using either a test map or meter.

When the resistor packs burn out, the fan should still work on the fast speed, as this is just a switched live, essentially,
