Default Mk2 fiesta with zvh engine turbo

Have issues with getting a spark trued everything new
eg: coil leads cap different distributor rotate arm
timing . Just can’t get a spark now tested leads to coil and no power tryed putting 12v straight to coil still no spark.
the fuel relay doesn’t kick in on its own so I took cover off the relay and manual operate the relay
the ignition relay is clicking in and out am I missing somthing ?
not done much work on these at all brought the car has a toy

No spark or fuel (due to fuel relay) so essentially complete nonstarter - Have you checked the ignition switch is working?

Are you using the crank position sensor in the Zetec block for your management ?

If yes was the Zetec bottom end from an automatic ? If yes the crank position boss is differant to the manual.

The plugs cant be wet from fuel if the fuel relay isnt energising the fuel pump.. Even the cold start injector needs the fuel pump to prime it
Or does the fuel relay click to prime, but then doesnt run when cranking?

Have you checked the voltage to the coil when cranking? I know you said you ran 12v across it directly but if the wiring is sending the voltage too then the problem is obviously going to be the coil (nice easy/cheap fix!).

If people have been "messing" have you checked the basics - e.g. fuses?

Coil will only see voltage at cranking/run

If you connect a testlight to the battery positive and then remove the green trigger (-) wire from the coil and put the other end of the testlight to this. When you crank the car over the testlight should flash. If not then you know the wire (or ecu) is at fault. You could pull the rubber boot back on the ecu connector and test the wire there, if its ok then there is a break somewhere in between. If it is, replace the wire or locate and repair the break

I have done a contrewity test from green coil wire to ecu and black wire to ecu that seems like there is a circuit there

And yes I have checked all the fuses that I can find
does one of the black wires from the coil leads supposed to go to the fuel relay ?
