looking to start a resto job on my RS, gonna take everything off and sort it for the track mega properly, but have one question

when you take something like the engine out, how do you rememeber when everything goes when putting back etc? do you take notes or piccies or reply on memory and manulas etc?

 

Just on memory and knowledge really,but if you are not sure just take loads of piccys of bits as they are on the car and label it all as it comes off,hope this helps

 

As above, glad I did take pics of how my car looked underneath before hand as I would ave been fooked, oh and thanks to ^ Top man, helped me out loads all my bugging him and so many other people, Pau1rs, Vrooomm pttshhh etc etc

 

Yeh loads of pictures, it's the detail you tend to forget over time.
