I would appreciate anyone help on getting the the five wires that come from the fuel fender sorted on Ford escort 1993 mk5 facelift XR3i efi.
The loom had been cut in half before I bought the car as a prodject.
The power supply and earth for the pump are ok and the sender earth is OK. this leaves 2 cables.
my question is do the remaining 2 wires from either side of the resister card both go back to the fuel gauge on the dash. One of these cables has a 12v supply coming from the main loom.
All the cables are brown so no colour code to work from.

All the wiring diagrams I have seen in the Hayes manuals only show a single cable, but clearly the efi sender has 2 cables.
so if anyone can shine some light on this I would be much appreciated.
