Default Sierra 2.5 T

Hi, i'm new here and i would like to show little something that we can/have made in Zagreb, Croatia
It started when my dad bought 1.6 CLX in far away 1991. and it was a great car....somewhere about 2003. evil me happened to her (sierra) and it all started

Long story short...first project was to put in 2.0 DOHC and 4x4 transmission and that was great.....for a while

Idea was born when a friend bought Scorpio 2.3 '98. for parts and asked me if i want to buy engine...that was when it really started

Here are some pics and youtube's that i have found

This one is from internet, i could not find pics on PC :/

Looks good mate.

How did you increase capacity to 2.5 and what kind of power does it make?

We were ordering custom pistons so we ordered bigger and bored cylinders

At 1.2 bar 365 HP

Throttle body is from BMW 535/735 that's why it's bigger

Nice job on the electric window mods - what parts did you use ?

I suspect the cylinder walls are paper thin after boring out to 2.5 litres!

That's a +4.0 mm rebore

WOW...didn't quite get your calculation but this is not cossie 2.0, it's 2.3 engine....it has bigger stroke then cossie (77mm cosworth, 91mm 2.3 scorpio)

Electric window....ufff, i wanted it so badly ....one day i was driving company car (Punto MK1 "DIPLOMAT") and it had one touch power window for driver side...little looking around and i founded their simple solution:

Only thing is that you have to use one module for one window...

2.3 is 89.6 bore x 91 stroke

8.96 / 2 = 4.48 so (4.48x4.48) x 3.142 = 63.061 cm2
63.061 x 9.1 = 573.857 cc x 4 = 2295.4cc

You would need a bore of 93.6mm to get out to 2.500cc

9.36/2 = 4.68 so (4.68x4.68) x 3.142 = 68.817 cm2
68.817 x 9.1 = 626.237 x 4 = 2505cc

2.3 has the same bore centres as the 2 litre and there is not a lot material left for boring out.

Brave decision !

Does that relay work with a timer or is it current sensing mate?

O.k...maybe it's 2467....2.5 sounds better than 2.46 ....i just know that we did not go to much and that it has enough walls left

relays do not have it's own timer...you have to put one extra if you want it to work that way

If anyone is interested, car is for sale...everything works and runs fine. Right now car is AWD but i give with car one RWD gearbox with all parts just to bolt on (made for DYNO purposes) and TWO (2) more gearboxes 4x4, one more front diff and one more rear diff. I have one more 2.0 DOHC (whole car) that i give with this one if you want...and whole lot of parts

I think 6000€ is a fair price
