hi guys
been out of the trade for a decade and back on the motorsport side of things,
I've been given 9 Van Dieman Formula Ford's with the Escort mk RS 2000 red top engine to mod and fix,
mostly of the engine side of things...
my question is -
do they do a steel sump for this engine
the reason is that the sump guards for the cars keep on been smacked up into the ally sump and cracking them,
so we all now the oil and water don't mix on a track so its been given me to sort ..
the sumps will be converted to the dry sump set up as they are alredy done for the alloy ones.
also one of my project cars is a Chevon GR8 Cossie YB powered monster..
will post all photos of any mods done to the cars
