Hello,
I own Ford Focus 1.8 TDCI mk1 2004 and strange problems started happening in last three months.
When driving glow-plug light starts blinking, engine starts to loose power and stops and it won't start again. I towed car back home and tried to turn car on next morning. After few tries it started again. First time when it happened I managed to drive for next 3000km before it happened again.
And this problem happened to me three times. Car stops working and after few days of trying to turn it on it starts again.
I don't know if this is coincidence but all tree times engine stopped working it was raining.

Any idea what could cause this problem?

 

My friend is driving a ford focus i will ask to him, currently he is working at rite way towing nyc so will let you know on weekend.
