Default Fiesta ST 2005 Rocker Cover Gasket Torque

Hello,

I volunteered to do a friends rocker cover gasket on her 05 Firsta ST. Not sure of the torque setting, or indeed if it's just tighten until they bottom out. I've done it on an old Zetec S and a BMW E46 before and hand the Haynes manual so I could look it up. It's not my car and I don't want to bugger a bolt up. Help would be appreciated.

I've got 10 Nm for the 'valve cover retaining bolts'

btw, it doesn't have rockers, just followers. Hope she appreciates it heh

Thanks. I thought it would be something like that.

Changed it all ok. But someone has done it in the past, the corner of the cover is cracked and one of the bolts has been de threaded at the front. I went to remove it and it just spun freely, been that like that forever I guess. Randomly it was leaking from the back and into the spark plugs, no where near the useless bolt or corner. Hopefully it will be ok. If not, new cover or ebay.

I must stop offering to help people with cars.
