Hi folks,
Quick request for help.
My 3dr steering rack has a wobbly pipe but I don’t know why. The wobbly end is where the various pipes gather, near where the column goes into the rack. It seems the the pipe concerned (the larger of the pipes in the photo) is a push fit and is then held in place by a retaining clip style item which is secured by a 10mm bolt which seems tight.
Can anyone who has experienced this item please advise if it should wobble and if not what looks wrong please? Is it missing a collar or something?

Yes, they do wobble. They have a rubber seal under there and the plate on top stops it popping out, nothing to worry about.
