Default Cosworth enlarged throttle body

Has anyone got experience with this? Bored out to 61mm from the standard 56mm;

I have seen them before on big power engines.

‘’The ideal is individual throttles per cylinder. You can run over 500 bhp on standard though.

Rs500’s came with a bigger throttle body 70mm ID iirc

Just had a 65mm id fitted to mine but it's fly by wire, can't comment on what it's like yet as still at the mappers.

I have the throttle body from that link on mine. Sent him mine and he modified it. Really nice work and fast turn around time. Initial impression is good on the dyno but wont know for a few more weeks.

I’m not 100% but I don’t think a bigger throttle housing makes that much difference, you can still get massive power on the standard sized body

i had mine bored out only because i took mine apart to rezinc the linkage so the person bored it out and put it back together for me.

i done it a while ago it was about 70 quid

Looks good. I do have an enlarged one but not fitted it. I am most likely going for 4 individual throttle bodies as I believe they give a large increase in throttle response.
