What's my2010 Mondeo Titanium X Sport Ecoboost Powershift worth?
Hi guys, I'll just put the ad up that explains exactly what the car is, and any comments welcome, because I'm really not sure what to put it up for. And if anyone's interested in it give me a shout. It's literally been for mot today.

Here for sale is my 2010 Ford Mondeo Titanium X Sport Ecoboost Powershift petrol Auto 2.0 in hypnotic silver. This spec car is quite rare and was only produced in 2010.
The car has done only 12,000 miles, yes just 12k! It has a brand new mot which it passed with no advisories whatsoever.
When I bought it, it had had a fairly minor fire in the back seat area, I think it must have been a dropped cigarette or something as there was very little burnt wiring, it was mainly the backs seats and surrounding trim melted or damaged. I’ve replaced everything, including pieces of the red stitch trim, which were very hard to find. I do have pics from before the repair too that can be supplied to anyone interested.
The car is definitely NOT on the HPI register and I bought it privately. I think it’s probably just been passed around a bit, and sat around waiting to be fixed, hence the low mileage. In fact it’s been sat on my drive for 2 years.
The body and the wheels are a bit untidy in places, but the engine bay and underside honestly look virtually like a new car (engine, suspension, exhaust, heatshields etc etc). The engine is amazingly quiet and the auto box really smooth.
I’ve just fitted new discs and pads and new tyres all round. I’ve also just done oil and filter change, and kept the original Ford filter for the new owner. I think you could probably date it by its numbers, and confirm this is the first change it’s ever had.
This will make a great car for someone. I’d be surprised if you could find another with this mileage anywhere. If you want a car to do a lot of miles in this would definitely interest you. It has a massive spec too, including electric everything, multidisc Sony dab head unit, climate control, cruise control, headlamp washers etc etc. There’s just too much to list here. The only thing that doesn’t work at the moment is the parking sensors, and it’s been scanned to check this and it’s just one of the front sensors that need replacing.
Any questions at all please ask. Any serious viewings welcome, but no time wasters please. The car must be collected from Lincoln, and full clear payment made before it is released. Please note it is currently sorned, and is sold as seen.
Nice looking car and honest to explain the back seat history that you really need not have mentioned as no record and all sorted.
nice looking car...sorry, haven’t a clue what it’s worth.
can you find a similar car with 30-50,000 miles on autotrader to compare the prices, yours should be worth more but match their price and should sell fast.
Looks like a very good usable family car.
I see what you mean about pricing it. It would demand more of a premium if it was a super economical diesel, the sporty 2.5T or an estate. So plus side is the very low milage and against is the condition is more average for the year.
Is the rear bumper a differant colour or is that the camera ?
I think you will just have to think of a price and give it a whirl. I am interested to see what you have in mind on the price.
As been said above the body isn't great for the age and is really just another mondeo, you would need to be a massive enthusiast to be bothered by the model etc. I would price it similar to a tidy slightly higher mileage car, If someone wanted it mint I imagine they would end up spending half the cars value on paint.
Either that hat or store it, I'm sure in a good few years it will be worth more
That looks like a really tidy car in the pics. Is the bodywork really bad then.
I don't understand why the 2 ltr petrol was only avalible with an auto box.
I think I've probably undersold it. No, it's not bad, there's a scrape on the nearside front bumper which you can see in the pics, a dink in the passenger side rear door which you can also see, and a scrape on the rear bumper on the drivers side and where that is there's a small crack in the bodykit. I'm just trying to be honest about the car. Oh, and the wheels have the usual scrapes on them.
On the positive side it's pretty much stonechip free on the front end.
It was ultimately going to replace the car I've got at the moment that I used for commuting, but I don't do long commutes anymore, I work from home most of the time, so I don't really need it.
I wonder if I've been a bit harsh with the description, it just needs a few bits tidying up, but it is a stonking car. I drove it down for it's mot the other day and it really does drive like a new one. Even holding the steering wheel it feels like new. When I did the brakes on it (just because the discs had rusted up through standing so long) I had a good look at all the suspension, springs, arms, links etc and they all have their original paint on them, and when I did the oil change the undertray is mint and the sump looked brand new.
