Ive got a 2010 Transit Connect Limited 1.8 tdci. At the end of August I put some diesel in the van and it would not restart. I got it home display came up ESP fault and Hill assist not available. Engine runs on Brake cleaner ok. One day the van started as normal and I had it running for a while. Great I thought sorted as all warnings had gone off the display. Next day wouldn't start and error messages back. Got error 401 cant communicate with ABS. Any ideas please

 

Hi I have the same issue as your van but it's a ford focus. Some times the car won't start and the ESP light comes on. but it settles after some time. can you please advice me how you corrected the situation. TIA.
