Default F262 SVW, boot floor/spare wheel well panels

Hi,

as above, does anybody have or know where I can buy a complete boot floor or just the spare wheel well panel for a series 2

full back end end of this RS is rotten/been bodged in past. I can make the boot floor myself but not the spare wheel well. Also I’m after a pair of tie rod hangers for rear chassis rails if anybody has any ideas.

Thanks Ryan

Don't know the answer to your question but I know of a place about 10 miles from me which specialises in old Ford panels. They used to break a lot erst but I guess those became few and far between. Now they do panels. Can't see that they have the ones you want but might be worth a call. http://www.car-body-panels.com/

thanks bud,

They don't have the panels I’m after but they do have the inner sill floor panels cheaper than anywhere I’ve seen so I’ll order them up.
There really good on price, wish I’d of known about them before I’d ordered the sills and arches etc.

Really struggling on these other panels.

cheers

Thought id Chuck up a few pics of F262 SVW, slowly getting her back to former glory. I’m glad I’m coded welder by trade or it would of been off to the scrap yard. I didn’t have a clue how rotten she was when I bought her off here.

keep losing interest only problem, back end should be rebuilt next weekend when rest of running gear back from the Coaters. Swap it round and onto the front, few repairs to doo at the front but it’s pretty solid weirdly. It’s like it’s been parked with its arse in the river lol. Then paint rest of underside, replace bushes and ship her off to the body shop to raid my piggy bank.

Wow great job so far. Welding is one of those skills I wish I had. I bought a mig welder a couple of years ago wanting to learn. Didn't think that one through what with living on a flat an all.

Thanks Bud. And that’s class mate, just practise welding in the dinning room lol. And I’m a tig/stick pipe welder by trade but mig is easy, wouldn’t take anybody long to get to a standard. I’m just looking forward to getting this finished and sent to away to the body shop lads. Not looking forward to the cost though

Cheers Daz, much appreciated, just got all the fab and welding complete on the front now and she will be in paint underneath by end of this weekend. All the new parts are powder coated and Pollys fitted so front end should be complete within 2 weeks. Then off for full respray start of Oct. she’s needs to be back on road this year. Been in garage past 4

thanks Daz, and thanks for the pics, great to see how she used to look. She’s had a hard life and cost a small fortune in time and money but not a mile off now. I’ll hopefully get time to finish her off over winter. Been a long old project mate.
